About the event
Fire departments nationwide use aerial trucks equipped with firehose, a water tank, and a pump. The ability to function as an Engine and a Truck provides these apparatuses tactical advantages and disadvantages when working on the fire ground. Understanding these differences is the key to winning the battle on the fire ground. In this class, attendees will perform the traditional truck and engine company functions, focusing on simultaneously accomplishing these tasks. They will learn to combine these unique functions into one smooth operation while operating from a single apparatus.
